With whisper quiet 240V AC mains electric motors offer the ultimate in luxurious and efficient blind motorisation. The integrated 4-Core Switched motor is Ideal for integration into home automation systems with external relays or motor controllers such as LightwaveRF, Control4, Crestron and KNX. 4-core switched motors are supplied with 4-core flex that consists of 2 directional lives (brown & black), neutral (blue) and earth (green & yellow)

Universal 240V Test Lead

The Universal 240V Test Lead Set is a tool designed to allow to you easily yet professionally test and set up electric blinds and curtains. Suitable for various different applications, this tool can be used to provide easy connection from a standard plug socket to a 240V hard wired or RTS controlled blind or curtain so that you can fully test and program each unit.

This test lead set is especially useful for projects that require you to set up numerous blinds or curtains as it utilises four quick connectors, allowing swift connection and disconnection of the motor power cable to help save time between testing and adjusting each unit.

Recess Fitting

Width

Measure the inside width of the window Recess. We would always recommend measuring the top, middle and bottom in case the recess is out of square and then using the narrowest measurement.

Drop

Measure the inside drop of the Recess. We would always recommend measuring the far left hand side, the centre and the far right hand side and then using the shortest measurement.

When Recess sizes are given Controliss Blinds will take all the nessasary adjustments to ensure you receive a perfect fitting blind.

Exact Fitting

Width

When measuring the width decide how much you would like the blind to overlap the window recess. We would recommend a minimum of 50mm each side although this is largely down to personal preference. Please take care to account for any obstacles that may interrupt the usage of the blind.

Drop

When measuring the drop decide how much you would like the blind to overlap the window recess. We would recommend a minimum of 70mm above to allow for convenient fixing of the mounting brackets. The bottom overlap is very much personal preference.
